amazing how many "locals" don't know there are sharks in the water there. LOL

good job trying to help out and get that shark back to life, Albert and crew.

The tiger picked up the bait at 11:09 Sunday and at 12:30 or so we were releasing her. She went 12'3" not 13' which was 3" shy of his monster from last year. We spent around 30 minutes trying to get it to swim off after the catch which she finally did. She did seem weak but swam off none the less. It sucks to know she ended up washing back in but at least she had one last gift of pups to give before she passed. Albert is a damn good guy and would have never intentionally killed this beautiful beast. Anyone that fishes even catch and release knows that these things happen no matter how hard we try to avoid it. It still goes to prove there are some monsters out there. I will try and post a pic of her right before the release in a little while.
