Hit the surf Wed AM and mullet was scarce. Only got 6 and it's not like I wasn't trying. Surf was up some. Besides a couple of blues, hardheads and skip jack I did catch 3 Jacks. The first one went 42". Took me what seemed like 30 min. to bring it in. 15 minutes later I land a 40". By now my arms are wasted. Got another hit and luckily this one only went 21".
I brought them home so if anyone wants them for sharkathon PM me your # today, WED. and I'll let you have them or they become crab bait and sushi for my lab. |

Same here. I've had a good sized bull red, a couple small sharks, good blues and smacks, but the best fight I've had to date was prolly from a pomp.
Those are two awesome fish. Good job! |
