Nice sunrise...waves were bigger than expected and water somewhat sandy. There was lots of bait in the water, and several times we saw those dusky brown bait balls come through with the birds going crazy over them. Surprisingly, the bite was very slow. I saw one king hooked and then lost a little after noon on the T, a couple of good sized pomps taken, otherwise not much action from 8am-1pm. At 8 I got one big hit and a run that almost spooled me, then the line broke. I never got to see what took the bait....and never got another good hit. Everyone on the pier was very nice...no problems such as have been reported lately. Oh yeah, did see one really big turtle swim by.

Sorry no pics.

I've been out there the last three weekends in a row and everyone has been super nice! I have read about people having several issues out there but I have not yet.
