As in JACKS and Rays. Anyone have some spare that they would be willing to sell for Sharkathon? If you are, PM me PLEASE. I've had worse than poor luck stocking up this year.

Hey hunger buster, was that you me we at packery last week? You were spear fishing?

Check out the packery jetties, look for the birds working bait. There were lots of football sized jacks (and many smaller ones too) working bait. Vertically jigging heavy slab spoons was the best method for catching them. If you have a seine net (they sell 20 footers at some stores), you can try pulling them in the surf or backside of mustang island for stingrays.

What about the kind size ladyfish that I've been seeing lots of reports of in the surf? They're super bloody too!!! Good luck to you as well as all others in sharkathon!!!

I liked his posts...his 'style' never bothered me. I met him and he seemed like a nice guy, but honestly, this post gets this response from me.

Aw Geeze, not this $*** again.

Agreed, seems people still continue to try and stir the pot, even after all this has settled.

last week at packery bridge was full of jacks and skips. biggest jack i got was about 6lbs. you could probably spend a couple of hours and have all the bait you need.
