I bought some prescription polarized guidelines and I love them and it's very easy to order. I know there not costas but I have not had any problems with them and I see crystal clear with them. I was looking to get costas but someone on this board reffered guidelines and they were cheaper. Cost me $167.00. You can go to bass pro or academy and find the frame you like and then order the prescription ones online. www.glpolarized.com

A friend of mine lost his a couple of weeks ago at Bluffs Landing. They fell in at his slip. New ones where going to cost him 6 - 700. I'll tell him about the guidelines.

John Gill, a local fisherman, sells them in his office nest to EyeMart express. I think it's Bay Area Vision. Whenever I go for an eye exam, the exam takes 5 min. and the next 25 min. is spent talking fishing. Great guy.

I have used T.Roberts Optical on Corona a couple times and have also used Bay Area Vision. Both did a good job, but not cheap!!!!!!

John Gill is who we use. Great Optometrist! Depending on if you need bifocals, somewhere around $300-400

Quick story....

My wife hooked me up with a pair of Costa Brine and although I have had Costa before I really needed this pair to be Rx. I called Costa to see what I needed to do to get them prescription and they told me several places around SA that could do it. LOOONG story short, I had my legit Costa brine frames filled with Eye Master lenses that replicate factory Rx lenses. They use some machine to add all the shade/polarization and whatnot that they claim is the same Costa uses....basically recreating the lense but in Rx.

They work GREAT but not sure they are the Costa lenses we read about. Who knows. [/u]
