So just to let Yall know. The channel that runs behind the airport in port a is on fire with reds right now live mullet under a cajun thunder fished right up next to the islands did the trick also watched an older gentleman and his wife slay em in the channel on the bottom on mullet.of course with the good comes the bad my 26 year old nephew who has been fishing the coast his whole life decides to step out of the boat barefooted in dirty water and landed right on an oyster bed so our trip was cut short due to a badly cut up foot and a trip to the hospital he had to get 10 stichis and a whole lot of antibiotics to fight off any infections.

TFTR but what a bummer!

hope he heals quickly...make sure to keep your eyes on the wound, don't let it get away from him, some nasty stuff comming from them eyrster beds.
