| This motor needs work. If you have knowledge of boat engines this is a engine for you. It still runs flawless and pisses very strong but will not hold any oil. Has a fresh carb job and new key ignition. With my 15 foot skiff loaded it would push my boat 33 mph. fuel economy is awesome. Ive run from the jfk to the mouth of baffin on a 15 gallon fuel tank nearly wide open throttle the whole time and still fished the next day on the same tank of gas. I am not mechanically inclined or else I would keep this motor no doubt. At island marine he said the parts were only about 500 bucks but he wanted 1000 for labor. All I want is $350 or maybe a trade. I have pics that I can email. |
