I've got both. Ive made all kinds of different leaders single strand
Coated, heavy heavy flouro. Snap swivels on some so I can change out the short hook leaders I made. Been working like a charm.

Been offshore twice this week in a pb wensday and yesterday.
Caught one wensday lost two.

Caught two yesterday and lost a monster king.

And caught a huge ray. Lol. Avets slayed em!

Yeah that 50"+ today was a hella fight peeled over 100yds in a few seconds. Lol had him in the front of the mouth with one treble! Very lucky to land

Lot of smacks caught this evening and some more king action. I landed another one at 44" and few slides were popped and bait stolen right before dark. Here's few more pics

Well my first king yesterday went around 48-50" at best guess with rough measurement. Cause my 52" today was a little bigger and a lot thicker!!

Guy beside me landed a 27" red earlier.
Couple smacks caught not thick like yesterday though. Currents very weak.

Just landed my first king on the day with a good measurement at 52" and 27lbs.

For shark bait was on 30lb mono with 100lb flouro leader on a float with dbl 4/0 J's on 44lb tooth proof wire.

Ran straight for the beach where there were a hundred poles to go around thumbed down on her then headed for the gulf for a while then back all the way to the T. Hardest fight I've had so far.

Just old designer t's retired from the wardrobe used to run fish slim on now! Lol. My Magellan been worn a few days it's being soak to try and relieve the stinch some haha.

Hooked up on another nice one. Hooks slipped.
Seen 2 caught on end of the T. Few smacks today. Nothing special lot of wind and good bit of scattered weed.
