Great job Mark, the surf looks a little sporty for rock hopping!

What lures were you using? I was there on Tuesday and saw them rolling off the end of the south jetty but couldn't get them to eat a lure.

We where using MirrOdine, Skidderwalk and Yo-Zuri shallowdiver. Just had to wait for them to turn on which started when the tide turned. I think they would of hit anything that looked like a mullet on the outgoing tide.

Thanks for the info. We didn't fish them too long, but they were out there for sure. Figured I needed to be closer to dark to get them really biting.

The jetties do get dangerous just have to time your landing of the fish. If not you git a wave like this hitting you.He was trying to land his Tarpon which got pushed under a rock.

that is awesome. I will be down in mansfield on July 28th for the weekend fishing the annual offshore tournament. Might have to make a run to the jetties the evening before the tournament.
