Over all fishing was kinda slow but i did manage to put my daughter on her first nice sharks. Tues afternoon she started hammering whiting,skipjack, and of course hardheads! About 11 pm her 9500 starts heading east and 45 min later shes got her 1st shark on the sand, a fat healthy 6'1" bull

The next day we fought weed nonstop but did manage some night time baits, i casted a bg-60 out into the wade gut Hoping for a jack, and about 5 pm that little rig gets rocked and the fight is on, pretty much knew it was no jack and after an hours worth of tug o war she lands her 2nd bull that taped out at 5' 3"

The rest of the night we fought weed until it was to much to handle and we called it quits. While walking down the beach i noticed huge schools of baby pomps just cruising under the cover of darkness in about an inch of water....pretty cool!

Funny story bout that, normally i dont fish north of the 35, but after running up and down the beach for 2.5 hrs my daughter shot me that look that i know all to well (she has her mammas eyes) so after about 70 miles of driving we ended up at about the 21 Laughing
