Went out yesterday to get some kings but they werent around. Tarpon was thick under the right T, couldnt get them to bite. Sad

Well i think an attempt to hook a tarpon would be great. I might give it a shot this afternoon

i would suggest super long(like 7feet) fluorocarbon leaders around 60-80#
be ready to try tons of different baits...most of the tarpon are under 70pounds..

There is not much bait out there and I haven't heard of any thing being caught in a couple of days other than a few pup sharks

Thanks for the reports guys, I appreciate it! I like to fish Bob Hall Pier and it is good to know what's happening out there from time to time.
