Had a Philosophy test this morning and afterward figured what better way to clear the mind then to go fishing. Got on the water at 10:30 and caught several fish. Around 11:30 had kept 6 trout and let go several keepers when the unthinkable happened. My innertube float blew up. Lucky for me it was only 15 feet away. Got to it before all the rods and equipment sank. Now I had to carry every thing back to shore. Oh well back to the drawing board. Anyways, trout were in 3-4 feet of water and really aggressive. Was throwing an H&H Queen Cocohoe Minnow Salt/Pepper/Chartruese tail, 1/8 oz jighead. Going again in the morning. Anybody up for a long wade in deep water?

Did your tube hit something, or was it a general failure?

Nice haul though. Very Happy

Good job, glad you were able to save your gear!
I plan on being out on Sunday and will be shooting for some reds by the gas wells. I need a good rod bender as I have a couple of new rod and reels to break in.

The tube just got tired of floating around. Didn't hit anything.
