guess i should have gone further towards pita...
only got a handful of trout and headheads, water color was pretty bad though some spots were worse than others...

have ruined a few bags of fishbites...got this little gulp container from roys..it works well for the fishbites..

not the biggest trout i hooked, i took his pic because i had put one rod down to mess with another, and that little trout grabs my shrimp next to the yak and jumps in the boat..almost hit me in the face lol

caught a few of these...ewwww....

can these toadfish hurt you? other than by biting you they seem to have some pretty big barbs..never had the nerve to grab one..been poisoned by a fish before in hawaii..not fun....
till next time... Cool

The gulf toadfish is considered to be of poor quality, and have been linked to ciguatera poisoning in humans.

this was in that link....
says barracuda and dolphin eat them though...

Caught three of those stinky things Sunday am at Bird Island. I grabbed them and took them off hook without any problem. Now maybe I am glad I did not think about catching something that could be poison, otherwise I would have cut the line!

Don't feel to bad, you did better than me. Only two hardhead in the surf, forgot my cast net and only used fishbites. Surf was looking better today but still chocolate brown. Only fished 45 minutes worth due to the wife wanting to shop..... Yay shopping!!!(input sarcasm)
