No kidding the little hardheads are the worst. I carefully release them then they push their little pectoral fins back at you as you are letting them go and give you a complimentary release slice in your fingers _________________ Like Corpusfishing.com on Facebook! |

| I never touch the hardheads, I simply us pliers or a leatherman and shake until they fall off the hook. After they land in the water I pray they have no ill will and dont come back and attach themselves to my leg and/or foot. As far as the "spring fling", I only wish I could catch enough to toss back. |

| Fish not harmed? Ever released from a high pier, they become floters my friend. First tought in seeing those pick was, why would you do that, childish or maybe drunk. I grew up in a country where there is now respect for human life and the life that God gave us dominion over. The result, there is nothing left. It is for the same reason I do not enjoy seeing those pictures of rows upon rows of fish hanging from nails at the docks. The pressure on fish in our bays must be tremendous taking in account the amount of people I see fishing. Waste not want not. |

I call BS on that!!!!!
4" Spine? Really?
Even the largest Hardheads don't get spines that big. No picture, no proof. In fact, why don't you tell us about that speck you caught with those 1" long front teeth. I'm sure everyone would love to hear about that.
On second thought We need a reminder of ehat it is we're talking about here:

Well since you asked, she was 45" and 34.45532lb's on the boga....she fell to a flappin devil in 200' of water at the rigs...(cant say which too many potlickers) and after i got her home to eat i found a hardhead in her with 6" spines....so HA...your move mr FIDO
oh btw..her front teeth...1.5"!
But honestly, it was dark i had a spine in my knuckles and busting out a ruler to measure the size isnt something that goes through your head...those king ranch hardheads are a different breed i tell ya!

NO NO NO! You got it all wrong! You of all people should know:
