After an unexpected delay Friday finally headed down Saturday. Got on the beach around 2:45 p.m. Wind was not nearly as bad as I expected. The wife and I headed to my spot in the lower 40's. We managed one slot red and a few pomps (small pomps) on shrimp. We released all fish. Sunday was cool and windy and only produced one monster hard head. I was so excited I thought I had a solid fish or at least something decent only to find the biggest hardhead I have ever cought at the end of my line. Not complaining though at least we cought a few. Stoped at about the 15 and a couple had landed 5 or 6 pomps and a drum in the 24 inch range on dead shrimp. Hope yall enjoy! Very Happy

I will definatley do that. We have a group of 4 or 5 of us close friends from San Antonio that head down to PINS or somewhere around there to get it on. We're junkies for fishing down there. It would be awesome to chill with a native and take lessons from a pro. (LOL) I'll let you know the next time we go. Thanks a lot Very Happy

Sounds like fun Irish Beer! Wish I could have gone. We should set up a trip for March 16th.
