I see the NFL games are on NBC today and got me to wondering just how many people have dumped Time Warner and moved on.

I was fortunate enough to make the switch to Grande Comm about one month they dropped NBC from their lineup. Did it mainly for their super fast internet.

The Caller times says that hundreds of people are making the switch. We have grande out here on the island now, and i am thinking about moving my service. I have a hard time paying for something that isn't available.....

I gave up cable entirely and dont miss it. Roof top antenna works great. Very Happy

Grande recently put the cabling down on the island. After they did my block, I called them twice a week every week to see if they had it up and running. As soon as they did, I happily converted from Time Warner. Night and day in my opinion.

Dumped TW years ago when they failed to carry the NFL network. Now have cable tv, land-line phone and high-speed internet all in one bill at about the same price TW charges just for cable. Love Grande.

My son switched to Grande on the Island and I think I'm going to do the same. Tired of TW BS

It was not because of football I switched from Time Warner; rather, it was a multitude of things of which I will not elaborate on for space.

I did not have Grande option or I would have gone with them.

I went with Directv, and after about a month, I realize this is something I should have done a long time ago. I get almost twice as many channels, ability to record television, and price is $20.00 cheaper now, next year it will still be $10.00 cheaper than Time Warner.

Also, I have been very pleased with Directv's customer service; unlike other said company.
