Here is a picture of Rockhopper with a nilgia shot with his Uberti Sharps 45-70. He shot it on the run at 140yrds he said he led it 8ft. He hit a little far back but it quartering away and busted thru lungs, heart and out shoulder.

Yes it is Baby Ed and he was using 405gr. solids Black Hills ammo.

Awesome shot, that was one thing me and some buddies wanted to do... Hunt them off horseback with buffalo guns.

The gun is a Uberti 1874 sharps special. I bought the gun for his birthday and I don't know who likes to shoot it more me or him. We've practiced up 322 yards and had a little over a 12" group with open sights.
