Since it is only about 4 miles to the boat launch on Nueces River I am going to spend a lot of time fishing the river and the west end.

If someone would like to share some of their knowledge with me I would appreciate it.

I have a boat and you are welcome to come with me anytime I go.

Please contact me by email with your phone number and I will get in contact with you.

We used to shore fish by the bridge and catch a lot of small red fish, good size croakers, keeper sheep head, some keeper black drum, lota crabs and pin fish. Never been in the back waters at all but now that i have a small boat we are planning on it. I hope you have good luck!

We seemed to do well on drum and 24" to 28" reds in the tight bends up against the shore.
