Trying to get ideas for setting up my Toyota for surf/bay fishing and wondered what your rig set-ups are like.
What sort of modifications have you made? Camp/overnight setups? Yak/small craft towing/storage? Tool boxes, field dressing, cooking setups, etc?
Let's see 'em! |

Ordered a bull bar off ebay pretty cheap and with a little unistrut and pvc built a rod holders to bolt onto the bull bar. Something simple and inexpensive, bolts on and off easily and is very sturdy, drove down with it to the 37mm during sharkathon.

PennCaster: nice, considered doing something very similar for a rod holder setup.
John: wow, did you fab that?
dwdart: also nice & looks like something I could do myself as I've never worked with, nor do I have the tools for metal.
SaltyDog: awesome! I'd love to eventually get something like that for camping, the wife must love having a shower/bed! got any interior shots?
keep 'em coming, guys! |

Yeah I fabbed and welded everything that you see on my truck. Thats what I do for a living, aluminum fabrication. Ya'll will be seeing plenty more of our products soon as we are getting ready to become a site sponsor here. _________________ Blue Streak Fabrication - Manager / Fabricator

ahh, very cool.
fsaenz: nice, how does it do on the sand? will be in the market for a new four-door truck soon and am a ford/toyota guy. i'd like to go w/a smaller truck (tacoma, for example) for increased mileage over a larger truck. |
