I had to post this...it's about the Laguna Madre and as we all know we have the best playground in the gulf be the surf or laguna. As for the croaker  each their own people will complain  and some will admire the catch...me well as long as I have a license and its leagal I will use what ever I have to use to catch fish

Ditto to using live bait.......Whatever it takes. One little tid bit of info, When i was a kid we would catch croaker that would weigh 3 to 4 lbs. and fry them up..... I was down to corpus columbus day weekend fishing Packery and caught croaker one after another but they were schoolies and probably weighed 1-2lb. I thought about keeping some for the table but i released them.
