I think it is pretty obvious when a run is on there and along the Causeway. I too still enjoy the view going over the bridge. It reminds me of when I didn't live here and had a limited time to enjoy it!

I appreciate and enjoy the pictures and stories you have to tell. The spot your fishing if Murf thanks thats a secret spot he's not from here or South Texas as far as that goes. You might want to wait till you have 15 posts before you irritate fishermen.

Thanks for the timely report and pictures Surfdragon. I enoyed them all, including the "Island" sign. Should we ever move to that area I certainly hope I never become so jaded that I don't enjoy seeing the entrance to the Island. We have been planning to fish the area tomorrow. I will post a report and pictures...including the ride home!

Great report SD!! That's one awesome vacation!

If you dont see pleasure in seeing someone catch their first red fish thanks to Surf Dragons reports then what are you fishing for?

Not everyone has the time or the daddy to raise them up a superior fisherman!

Shoot I would enjoy just walking around seeing people catch their limit. Dont forget why you fish.

No shark bait i wasnt talking about you,But the ironic thing is one of my friends and i were wearing fishing bootties and then it just got to hot and we both took them off and we both have cuts under our feet .
He got the worst end of it with deeper gashes.There is a lot of shell in that
area. Cool
