He filed a report with the police and after about a month or so walked into the local pawn shop found his rods, but unfortunately they had already sold the tackle. After that they took his golf clubs, he found them several month later in another pawn shop in Aransas Pass. So I would search the local pawn shops if all else fails. |
Been checking pawn shops and craigslist, but nothing yet |

remember that the pawn shops must keep the stuff for a period of weeks before it can be shown and sold whether they but it or consign it. _________________ ccbobber |

Sorry to hear, they got me too. I left my garage open for about 30 minutes in broad daylight and the little BAS#$%TARDS took one of my offshore rods (4/0) and my lure box (about $300 worth) and my 350 piece craftsman tool box. I am thinking of baiting the turds...Adios

This is really the pits. Especially since this seems to be a habit, isn't there some way to bait them & somehow electrify it- sort of like an automatic tazer?
I don't know if confronting them in person would be such a great idea. If they're dopers, they can be pretty unpredictable or too out of it to care. |

| Another person I know just finished fishing, pulled his boat out , parked it in the marina parking lot after putting all his gear from the boat to the bed of his truck. He went into the restaurant for a burger and when he got back to his truck the bed was empty. That was about the same time my stuff was taken. |
