I have found some reds really skinny lately, I mean skinny.
Sunrise and sunset are good times to find them tailing.

I found several tailing in the grasses, and cruzing the flats along mustang island.

Thank you for your service to country. Shuffle your feet, watch Nueces Bay mud, it can suck you down, enjoy yourself, try other places on the backside of the island and you will come across some reds. Again thank you and welcome home.

The shuffling of the feet is to keep from stepping on stingrays (sorry if I'm being capt. obvious).

Thanks for your service and welcome home. May you experience tight lines!! Very Happy

Dpcap - you may not "see" them yet - due to the fact that you may not know what to look for - anyone can see them tailing, but their are other signs - you will learn.
Keep casting!!!

I like to be organized - wade belt, bait bucket, net and a fish bag/ stringer can be a cumbersome thing if you don't have it down right - I use ray guards, all the time.
