Well, it looks like the wind forecast for next week (20-40 mph) is going to kill our trip to Captain Carl's Crash Channel Cabin #1. Sorry we won't be getting the lights up for you all to come and fish at night there. We will re-sked the trip either in June or July or October.

really man its not taht bad at that cabin. as the way its faced it puts the ese wind on the other side of the crash channell and you can use the cabin for wind block. Iv fished that cabin more than once with 25+ winds..

Living here in the Bluff i have learned to kick back and pick the good days. The bad windy days are for $ overtime $ at work . Very Happy It only took me 20 years to teach myself that.

Wind! What wind! If it's blowing 20mph that's a calm day in the bluff.

not all of us are soo lucky. There are only certain days some of us can take off.. and those are the days we go fishing 30 mph wind or not! Smile But if you keep waiting around for a calm day this time of the year then you wont be getting much time on the water.. 3 months of 30
