This day I went northwest from the casa to Abiquiu lake and the Chama river below it. This is the lake.
Here are a couple of pics of the river.
And 1 of 2 browns caught.

Put acouple hooks on that and you would have a trout pattern

LOL! If you gear down to a tiny ultralight rod they are lots of fun. I like the shyster lure too! |

isint it funny that on the chama river, the trout are so small.. I would even bark that further up river in colorado that this would be bait..
But buddy.. they taste so darn good and still fun to catch.
