This is the first buck I have shot off this ranch. My friend has owned it for 3.5 years. Only shot a couple of does each year. This big boy was chasing does opening morning. I had put out a couple of scent bombs around my feeder the night before and he stood right in the middle of them scraping his horns on some mesquite trees. When I blew my grunt call it only pissed him off more! Not a bad deer for a 90 acre ranch just south of Hamilton!

Haven't had him scored yet. He is at the taxidermist now. I am guessing high 120's to low 130's.

Very nice. Congratulations. And the best part is you had your Little Hunting Buddy there with you. Take a kid hunting/fishing and he/she won't get into trouble.
