| Hit the water this morning and found a solid bite in deep water. Caught about 25 trout with 8 solid keepers for a nice little fish fry this evening. Cold weather bite. Good luck |

Hit the same area with the same results. I was shocked considering the high pressure that I found a nonstop bite from 2-5. I landed well over a limit of trout and kept 9 16 or longer. I was just hoping for a big girl which never showed up, my biggest came in at about 20".
Talked to a friend that fished a totally different area and did well also, can one of you "pressure guys" explain this? |

Yesterday was reading 30.27 when I left to fish.
Don't most call anything over 30 high? |

| My ULM mentor would say that high is OK if it is steady - just fish deep, as you did. |

Hit the same area myself and must have caught 100 trout between my buddy and me. We were throwing back keepers because we were keeping the solid fish. Some of the small ones were like missiles. I kept 6 and my buddy kept 9. Had a few 22- 24" range. The rest were around 20". As soon as the wind picked up we were catching them steady every drift throwing assassins. We didn't want to leave because the bite was so good. We saw a few schools of reds closer to the shore and had a 17" drum nail my soft plastic. Good day on water for sure !
Here's a few pics
