I thawed some bee liner out a while back and pan fried them in butter and olive oil after dipping in seasoned flour and spices. Served with fresh from the garden maters, serranos and basil. Man................................ it was GOOD!!!

Holy &$%$ Dave, that looks DELICIOUS! Look at the color on those tomatos! Those loook sweeeeeet! I LOVE fresh basil and tomatos. Going to duplicate this meal tomorrow.

Thanks Luke. Believe me when I tell you that it WAS good!!!

It's been so hot at night up here for the last 40 days or so that no tomatoes have set. It's always hard to get the plants through the summer with disease and such, and around here if you want tomatoes plants for a summer planting and fall harvest you must grow your own or make cuttings. It was 104 yesterday.............................. it's only 6:50 AM at present and it's 80 degrees and 87% humidity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And unlike CC, no wind!!!! Embarassed

Some may find fault with many aspects of my personality and life in general, but there are a few things that I do way better than average. Two of those few are cooking and eating!!! Very Happy

I'm only a half a$$ fisherman, I think because I lack the patience to learn the SLOW and subtle stuff like jig fishing. It just drives me crazy to sit in one spot and take a few minutes bumping a jig over bottom!! Embarassed

My A.D.D. means that I like ACTION, and we all know that fishing is often not that way. Now if there's something alive frantically wiggling on the terminal end of my line, ringing the dinner bell, that's different!!!

For whatever reason, I do a pretty respectable job at sitting in a tree for hours on end and being quite still while bow hunting. Maybe it's because the prize is worth the effort! Wink
