A buddy and I went fishing yesterday. We picked up a few finger mullet and headed out to one of our honey holes. We got there around 6:30 PM and right away we started catching rat Reds. We must have caught about 40 rats. Right before the sun started to set the bigger ones started coming in. In about 30 minutes we caught our limits. It was a great trip.
This morning around 10 AM I went out and fished the intracoastal grass line. By 12:40 PM I was back in the house. I managed to catch about 30 to 35 Specs on pearl white and New Penny Gulps. I had 2 big Trout get loose right at the boat. I still managed 4 keeper Specs to 18.5". Sorry, no pics. I was by myself and let's face it. They weren't that big.
All in all, it made for an entertaining 2 days. Fishing had not been this hot in a long time. This afternoon I got back to Austin.
