I have a 86 toyota 4runner i would be willing to part with. It is already rigged for PINS and quail hunting. I have been down to big shell numerous times in the worst of conditions with absolutely no issues. It isnt pretty but it is reliable. It is street legal and i wouldnt hesitate to drive it to PINS from the San Marcos area
Shoot me an email swhite832@austin.rr.com I cant seem to post a pic.

light, manuel trans, wide tires bfg all terrain or sand tires (no mudders). Make sure your diffs are geared right for your tire size and your engine can handle it. less engine= lower gears. depends also on how much gear you will pack. most with burbans carry tons of gear or multiple people. they also work if you want to yak offshore and leave your gear locked inside instead of in a pickup bed but the jeep will afford the same but not with the capacity (hard to stow 10 ft rods and a yak.) also keep in mind how easy it is to work on and get parts for. _________________ Eagles may soar...but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. |

4runners r a great choice. Reliable and certain models like my 2000 have an electronically locking rear diff. Only downside is limited room an they tend to be pricey. But they can go alotta miles. _________________ Jeff
