I am curious about the Dolphin Docks charter service out of Port A. Does anyone out there have any reviews about this company? They have a good website and would like some feedback prior to calling and scheduling. I am looking at their 24hr trip late July and have about a dozen and a half friends and co-workers who are inquiring about the trip as well. If anybody can lend me some input (pm or public response), I would be thankful.
All the best,

I had a good friend that was the Master Baiter there back in the day, but have not kept up with them in quite a while. _________________

| Depending on the skippers DDocks can be a good charter service. I fish with them years ago but not anymore as i found a better customer friendly docks for my offshore fishing. |

Omaka,
Can you tell me the other customer friendly company that you were reffering to?
I am planning an offshore trip in early July with a few of my co-workers as well and any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

| Try Deep Sea HQ and Offshore Adventures as they are both Corpusfishing.com sponsors. |

The only party boat out of port a i mess with anymore is Dolphin Docks. Maybe just luck of the draw on others but I've had fish ive caught not end up on my stringer, had a captain who couldn't get an anchor up at every stop, had rude deck hands who didn't have a clue. Never had trouble with Dolphin docks. (knock on wood) Except the time I blew chunks for 10 hours straight but that was mother natures fault not theirs :p _________________ Eagles may soar...but weasels don't get sucked into jet engines. |

| Over at Texas Fishing Forum under their offshore fishing section the almost 100% opinion is they would rather stay home than fish out of Dolphin Docks for free. Take Tyler's advice. |

I have never had a bad experience with DD. The deck hands work hard and so do the Captains. I booked this Sat. _________________ master deBaiter |

I have had grand fishing trips with DD and DSHQ's. I will be trying OSA this fall. I do prefer DSHQ's due to being able to bring an ice chest. This is the only thing that I can tell you if you haven't been out on a 24-84 hour trip before, although I know the deck hands are there to help and work, I have yet to go out and they treat you as an experience fishing person. Even on return trips with same deck hands knowing your capability. That can be a real a@@ chapper. Great luck and have fun. _________________ "I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize what you heard is not what I mean." |

| One Word - Lloyd! He's the man at Deep Sea HQ's. He is a great deckhand who loves his job and always makes you feel good. He usually is on the 8hr trips. |
