are there any bait houses open 24 hours yet in corpus or port aransas. clems isnt open 24 yet

What time do you normally buy your bait? Lots of places open late enough.

it takes us about 3 to 4 hours to get there from houston. it all deoends on what time we leave. we would like to fish at night but with most not opening til 5 am that doesnt leave mudh time to fish at night. it is heard for me to fish during the day with the heat. we try to leave houston after the evening rush hour as you can get stuck in traffic for hours.

Do you have a friend located here who can buy the bait for you and leave it in a bait bucket. Most stands close before 12am

not yet we dont. we will just adjust our schedule til clems opens 24 hours
. my son is hoping to get a transfer to the hospitla in corpus and as soon as he does then we can come over more often. than you for your help

Clem's was open last weekend early. We got there around 2:30 and left about 4am.

Bait stand hours generally are 5:00am to 12:00am Sunday through Thursday, and 5:00am to 1:00am on Friday and Saturday.

Having said all this, it will all change this weekend as they go into their summer hours.

Clem's generally goes into their 24 hour mode while the other stands will run well into the morning (1:00am to 2:00am all the time) starting Memorial weekend.
