I got a call from Billy and he wanted me to let everyone know his hard drive went down so you will not be able to contact him via email.
Phone him instead at 361 937 8446.
He says the sargassum is all over the beach from one end to the other of the Padre Island National Seashore. The driving is hell on leaf springs he said but the only real 4x4 area is in the Big Shell. Yesterday 5/18 he and his group got redfish, a 23" trout on soft plastics and a 20lb jack. He also saw lightning strike the water for the first time and was quite impressed at the explosion and steam that resulted. |
