Well weather looks better so I started fishing again. Got out of work at 5pm on Sat. went to get a dip net at Roys and headed out. I lost a 25 inch red a few days ago cuz I didn't get a good grip on it and it shook my lure out. Any way met a friend there and went out wading. Threw lures for almost 45 minutes with no hits. Kept walking around and finally hit a decent trout. Wasn't hooked good and came off right in front of me. Hit another 16 incher and broke in the net. I told my friend that the net I bought wasn't too big. 2 minutes later I had my lure about 10 feet from me and Bam! It got nailed by a big fat trout. It was 26 inches and did fit in that net. Caught two more after that . Last one I was walking back in, it also nailed my trout killer lure shaking its head out of water. The biggest 20 inch I have ever caught. Also very fat. Had a great time! Cool

Will post some pics in a little while as long as everyone on this forum promises not to go where I was fishin. Wink

i have been fishing there for many years and i have always caught them there ,there was hardly anyone there but now that it is posted everybody will be there .oh well i still got my other spot where no one shows up.

I see people there all the time. I even see boats go park in there. Went south with a couple of friends this morning. Between the 3 of us we caught 17 keepers and a red. I got lucky again and caught the two big ones. A 23 1/2 and a solid 24. The 24 was almost 6 lbs! I only have a cell phone pic of them, I'll try to post later.
