| You've already bought it by now. I have a 10' bait caster. It's okay for the price I think I paid about $70 for it. I like the Breakaway Assainator a lot better. Nick sold me a blank pretty cheap, I think about $90 |

Be sure you do a good wipe down when your done in the surf. Good rod. Nice and light. My buddy didn't take care of his and some of the guides rusted some. _________________ When the going gets tough, the tough go fishing... |

If you haven't bought it yet, call me. I have three surf rods from TopDog, but only two large spinning reels. You can try the ARS he sold me, its nice.
We picked up a Tsunami from Roys for the CCA banquet silent auction. It came with a good review. Better than an Ugly Stick, Breakaway makes a better one, but it costs more. Looks like a good compromise. _________________ Johnny D

not a bad rod for the money.. not the best.. but price and quality are nice... i have a few tsunamis// and slowly are ably to get away from them... but still use them or lend them out..
nice rod, does its job, holds up.. first one was about 8 years ago straight from th master distrib in NY. .. you will be impressed with some custom high dollar rods, so.. depends on how deep the pockets our.. better than ugly sticks.. and still have a few of them. _________________ Fish and Hunt Baby.... so tight lines and clear scopes. |
