The Ft Worth store had 2 HDX about 3 months ago.
Call Cabela's 800-850-8402 and ask for a buyer in the fishing dept and they can tell you if they have any in their stores and where. Then call the store and they can ship to you. I have done this before

Thanks for all the info. My son and I made the trip up to Buda yesterday. Ended up with only a Diawa Sealine 30 SHA. No decent rods available at the store. They did have 2 Breakaway spinning rods, but the salesman said that was all they had available. Very small selection of surf rods. I will be able to order onlline and will try the Cabela's rod that someone mentioned. Question, with the Sealine, do I need to install the brakes that were included? Not really sure wat I need to do, or even how to do it. I am a pretty poor reel mechanic.

I have the Daiwa 40 SHV - the 30's bigger brother and Nick had me install both the black and the red set.
