|

One of my friends at work is putting together a 10 person trip to Port A in late April (Sat 24th). He's put me in charge of arranging a charter.
Since you guys are the smartest, most humble, best dressed (when you choose to wear clothes) and nicest people in all of the the greater Flour Bluff area I would really appreciate your advice.
I'm looking for a professional guide(s) who can pick up out of the Port A harbor and who is:
Willing to wade, enjoys coaching/working with folks of all skill levels, that can make it fun regardless of whether or not there is catching, that isn't a jerk, a drunk (during work) or crazy (that eliminates about 75% of the guides I've been out with to date -stories upon request), that will work with live bait for the folks that prefer it, that has working equipment - doesn't have to be fancy, and that knows fishing and the area.
Not looking for a Woody's redfish rodeo or a 'they were here yesterday'.
Thanks in advance for your input,
Mark |

If I was you guys Id run down to Baffin and charter Capt Aubrey Black and one of his buddies if you really want to wade.. And your going to need two guides for 10 people there is just no way around that. Capt Mike Singleterry is great choice as well but I don't think he will run a trip out of port a. He is a ULM guy.
Im sure there is some good wading out of port a but most guys will just run to south bay and fish for reds on the drop.
Good luck |

Ace in the hole guide service with Capt Brent Hopkins. His wife Madonna and him are good friends of mine. Great people. Best part, he know fishing in that area probably better than anyone else. He's your man. Tell him "Big" John Sullivan sent you.
