Anybody know where to get blind window in the SA/Corpus area?
I'll Probably end up at home depot or lowes but is there anyone local that makes windows tailored more to hunting blinds? |

are you looking for just the glass/plexi glass part, or the whole assembly?
we normally use glass, but we also build stands with custom windows that dont let bugs in. i dont get along with bugs very well. |

| Looking for the entire window assembly. I'm not too fond of the plexi-sliders, so for the new blind I'm looking for something different. |

| Don't know how much your willing to spend, but you could try truck camper shell sliding windows. |

If you want to go with glass, you can still build your own sliders.
Right image:
You can use a router or table saw to cut groves on two 2"x2"s. This will support the glass panes. Then just use insulation strips to seal the gap between the glass panes and between the glass and wall.
Left image:
This is a simple shelf made of two 1"x4"s and installed a foot under the window. It's used to hold field glasses, water bottle, spray scent killer, etc.
The notches cutout on the ends are to allow for the stand's 2"x4" frame. |
