I went out to a spot by the packery channel and got one bite each afternoon. The great thing is both the trout were over 24 inches. Great fight and i can sense that when we have a few warm nights things will heat up and plenty more of those sows will be hooked. I was using a chartreuse and pearl sinking mirrolure and for the second i was using a soft plastic in a green, clear, pink tint with a red tail. Here are the pics of these bad boys. cant wait to hit the 30' club this year. How is everyone elses luck going right now?

Nice fish!
Those Jerk Jr.'s are my favorite plastics, they work real good on Reds too. |

| nice trout. i see the curb in one photo, so i have general idea of where you fished. there are some good spots around there. the channel can be good in certain locations when there isn't too much boat traffic. |
