Apparently these Sharks were caught by Mexican long liners operating off the coast of Mex. A few years ago, me and Skipper came across a scene just as bad if not worse near the 40mm. There were maybe 8 to 10 big Sharks washed up in a mangled gill net. The littoral currents bring them in from Mexican waters.....just like the 2 zillion tons of trash and debris that those pigs throw into the water. Over the many years we have fished PINS, we have found some really strange stuff. Quite a few Turtle skulls, all cracked by shrimpers(they crack the skull so they don't lose a finger when they get them out of the nets). A couple of cows( 1 near the 18mm, 1 near the 30mm)...freakin nasty!! Some sort of animal washed up in the 30's that looked like a giant possum. Maybe a Beaver?? Seen a few washed up shrimp boats too...now that is way cool...Just a few years ago we found one and were kicked out of the area by the GLO. I guess they could tell that my buddy was a dumpster diver Shocked
later,
Ernie

I've seen some very disturbing images of some of the stuff that goes on south of Texas. It makes me very angry. It's one of those vigilante situations. It at least makes you want to do something about it. On the other hand however, these people don't have a whole lot so i know they are just trying to provide for their families in many situations.
