I have a friend whos parent have a house over on padre island and there house is located on these canal type things , I mean there is water on the house but people are always passing with their boats and stuff. What kinda fish are we likely to catch and what bait would work as well as shrimp? Thanks for any input?

| Glow DOA Shrimp fished in the lights slowly. Toss around the edges of the lights. |

im a little behind on the fish lingo but I am assuming that DOA is dead shrimp and fishing around the lights is those lights that are underwater that attract fish fish around those. Also suggesting that night fishing is better than day? Any idea what fish like the canals more than others . I heard that sheepshead are a fav? _________________ huh |

| Nightfishing is better than day due to the lights. DOA is a brand of a lifelike shrimp lure. You might get something on dead shrimp at times but there are so many small pinfish in there right now you would get your bait stolen before anything good came along. |

Fishfinder, DOA is a lure brand. Glow is the color.
I also mentioned somewhere that I used to do great fishing lights for trout with small 4m series mirrolures.
Same MO, cast beyond the edges of the light and slowly twitch back in.
Good luck,
Damo |
