SINCE THE RAIN THEN THE WIND AND MORE RAIN AND HIGHER TIDES AND RED TIDE WHO BUT A HANDFUL OF REELY HARDCORE FISHERMAN HAVE GONE OUT. THUS THE LACK OF FISHING REPORTS. WHAT BETTER THAN TO SIT HERE AND DISCUSS OTHER THINGS. IT DOES SAY " GENERAL SALTWATER FISHING FORUM". I EAGERLY WAIT FOR BETTER CONDITIONS TO GO WENT A LINE. I SUGGEST GOING FISHING AND POSTING A FISHING REPORT OF YOUR OWN AND STOP TELLING TYLER HOW TO RUN HIS SITE..

hey Tyler, great site, keep it up....leave it the same, there are reports from the home page that can be as detailed, oh and free as they want...
none the less, i went fishing at Floore's last week, bit the big one, nothing but males in the school, then tried Cowboys for more pink snapper trout but as luck would have it, they were all undersized...so i went home!
seriously though, hit gorda, then pins, then shamrock, then pins and pins again....nada....i'm hurting for some fillets myself....with the conditions and red tide, it ain't worth it right now...patience is a virtue...until then, i will be fishing for piggies and whitetails here soon and hitting the beach again in November or when conditions warrant it...

I post a report every time I go fishing (negative or positive) Prob is I dont go fishing everyday like alot of us. Dont freakout if you dont see daily fishing reports. Just read what was there last where your gonna fish & go from there. I never relie what I read on a msg board anyway to decide where Im gonna fish.
I appreciate the pics, reports & tips. You have to take all that info & make your best judgement on how/where to fish.
Heck, its not "Corpus fishing reports.com"
I even like the jokes now & then & the political arguments to! _________________ -STAY THIRSTY MY FRIENDS!- |

bluffer I apologize, I sometimes get you and rabbit confused. I was actually talking about you in my earlier post. Your the one that post your reports.
The details and the places that are fished in the reports we don't care about. It's the pictures and the stories that make our day's at the office go by easier. Suggesting isn't " telling ", and asking isn't " putting anyone down ". there was no need to come to tylers " defense " or for you corpus boys to huddle around each other demanding a " no change policy ". That just verifies what I have been saying earlier. A mind and a parichute are a lot alike, that both have to be open to work.
I'll drop the subject. I have no outside support for it. _________________ FIRELINE WILL ' GET ER DUN '! |

Thanks for the jumpstart Fireline. Your comments have convinced more folks to post their fishing reports. I appreciate all of the reports!

Don't feel bad. Even with the fishing craze brought on by the internet 10% of the anglers still catch 90% of the fish. Politics or no politics. |

Well, you know...I have pretty much always caught fish. Since I came on the internet sence in '96, all I have done is helped others. I felt I have. Some realize it, some has it. So, I do not believe in the whole 90% of the fish are caught by 10% of the anglers. _________________ FISH ON!!,

For those of a like mind, in this particular case being the over-riding activity of surf-fishing for the most part --- this IS where we get together and share thoughts, experiences, life in general. Having been banished to the hinterlands of Oklahoma - NOT by choice, mind you, but by Act of Congress, I sometimes find it necessary to announce to the world of my friends what be happ'nen up here.
Got runned over by a damned ol' truck on the wee hours of 10 July this summer. Split skull - 3-1/2" long crack up the middle of the forehead veering off somewhere to the right side of the upper forehead. Lota bad head pain, time in ICU, drugs to prevent seizures, the smell and taste of which remain now. No more dizziness, no more headaches, but the short term whatever it was still suffers. Bought a house out in the boonies, which only Doc knows where it is. Since I was released to more than light duty 2 months and 3 weeks later been working on getting the corrals and barn ready for to bring the horse home, which I haven't been able to ride since I broke her, and may never be able to again. Lived here one whole week before we headed South to Sugarland to be there for the birth of grandchild number 3 - the keeper red from the post earlier that might have led 430+ readers on a wild goose chase.
Lotsa tree-trimming, painting and pseudo-beach preps to do for a house-warming. If it bores you, click on back-page. Me - well, Donna and I just try to blow off the vacation we never got to have this summer that had included two trips booked with Billy, an offshore trip of just us and a couple friends from up here. and a week+ of camping we never got to do on PINS - a week in ICU and another week trying to get brain-swelling down can ruin the best laid plan and intentions. This site, Breakaway, Extreme Coast, BeachBum's site, and SFCCI used to be the only things keeping me sane. However.com, since the 'on-purpose accident' we just try to keep on keeping on until the magical days when we can get back down there.
IN THE MEANTIME, we for two, like to keep up with the goings on going on down there, regardless of how much or how little fishing there is. That's my story and Donna says I'm stickin' to it. What do I know - I can't remember crap anymore.
Cheers to all my buds and budlasses down yonder ways. |
