Forgot to post this a couple weeks ago. Caught these and few others on a rod I had just finished building. Caught near the Port A Jetties bouncing weedless jigs along the bottom. Caught more rocks that flounder, but it was still worth the trip.

You might have to shut off your firewall. If I use roadrunners firewall then I cant see the pics either. I have to shut it off first. Very Happy

AllStar med-hvy, 6-ft, 3-piece bass blank. Unfortunately, AllStar no longer sells blanks or I'd have a couple more just like it.

Seen other people catch flounder off the jetties, I have lived here almost 4 years and still haven't caught a flounder.

ezmoney: Gulp curly tail grubs with 1/4-ounce sled-head jigheads.

fish4life: Custom grip that I glue-up and sand down directly on the blank. Grip style is called "split grip"....reduces the weight a little bit and gives it a more custom look.

Mastergunner: Between now and the end of December is prime time to catch flounder around just about any kind of structure.
