I was just going through my inbox and categorizing some of them. I ran across the name Chris Caudle, and I had forgotten how much he and I communicated when I first decided to take up fishing. He took it upon himself to email me based on something I posted here.
He gave me advice on what rods and reels to look into, and he gave me advice about my HVAC system.
He mentioned his daughter several times. And he sent me pics of himself and some fish that he caught. He never identified himself as "lonestarbeer" in the emails.
It had been so long, and I'm so terrible with names, that I'd forgotten how instrumental he was in getting me started in fishing in this area and telling me about Team Oso.
And all this time I said I'd never communicated much with the guy. Makes me kind of ashamed of my inability to remember names very well.
