The 27.5" (9 lb) RedFish from CosWay pier fought beyond cutting of the backbone and head last night. It wagged its tail and hit me in the arm even after nearly cutting the backbone and head off. I had to pray for that warrior and thank God for being blessed to catch such a fighter. Caught a 21" Black Drum too.

My Twins and I caught a 23" RedFish ThanksGiving week - first time real surf fishing. Winds were blowing directly onto the beach. Weeds were taking my line. Couldn't sit my butte down. Who said surf fishing is for lazy people. I was on my feet for nearly 3.5 hrs. keeping the weeds off and casting and re-casting. Went fishing that night plus the following Sat. My Twins reeled in four stout Black Drums.

Will probably hit the surf this weekend and continue to learn how to fish on the surf. It's a lot of work that I can see.

Please don't litter our fishing holes or anywhere else. Fines up to $2,000!

what were you using for bait. and was this night time fishing at cosway. because the day is never any good.

Mr C only fishes the cos-way at night. Usually wednesday nights. Very Happy
