Arrived around 19.75 mark about 11:30PM Friday night. Had my daughter, friend Bobby and his daughter with me. Daughters did what kids do on the beach and had a great time. Bobby and I fished. Caught some reds. Two keepers, one bull, the rest just under the 20" mark. Two Pomps. One was to small so was returned. Also had a snapper looking thing. Several Skips. Had a couple of breakoffs as well. But, we must have caught a zillion Whiting. Tons of doubles. Never seen that many doubles. I don't think the Pomps had a chance to even bite the bait. Whiting were just starving I guess. Overall a great time with lots of fish. A coyote even paid our trash a visit. Can't wait for the next trip. Also have been having this thought about more distance which I think can only be solved by me buying a new LDX. Will it ever stop?

Fishing strips for the whiting and pomps, mullet for the reds.

It's a synthetic bait from fishbites. I have caught Reds, Pomps and whiting with them.

Need to pick up a pack or two when you hit the surf.

See ya on the sand,
