|
| My dad lost his black Abu Garcia (I think it was a 5500 or 5400) about 3 miles down on PINS on Sunday the 29th. The rod was brand new, and still had the plastic covering on the cork. I just landed a king on it and sent him out to get one, but it had fish slime on it and he lost it just over the 3rd bar. Please let me know if anyone finds it. Thanks Jason Slocum |

That's tough, losing a new combo like that. With the weeds out there, it should wash ashore, but the currents could carry it to Port A before it comes up.
I hope someone finds it and returns it. I know if a board member does, it will be returned. |

| Back in Dec. I lost a surf rig around the 5mm on Sun. am and by the time I got home a member had already posted. His handle was Fishhook and really went out of his way to get the rod to me. Hope you have the same luck! |

| Back in October, a friend of mine left all of his fishing stuff (a couple of rods, reels and a big tackle box) at the Blue Dolphin carwash on the way off the island. He didn't notice it until he was already back in Austin. He called the CC cops and they weren't too interested in helping him out. Lots of money and memories down the toilet. |

| I can go one better. I had stuff stolen from my truck, and the CC police didn't give a rats butt. Seems it happens so often, they are numb to it. they didn't even want to take my report. Probably were serving as watch when it happened. |

| Corpus has got to have one of the worst petty theft problems in Texas. You can't leave anything out if it is not locked down. I have had everything from weed eaters to flower pots stolen right out of my yard. I don't even bother calling the cops. |
