As a kid growing up in central Alabama, my parents had a huge print of an Ivory Bill at the end of the hall next to my bedroom door. I was really into birds as I grew up and the Ivorybill was always the most mythycal/interesting bird. I have read some other articles that say the Cuban population may be larger than we think. To find one in the US, in the year 2005, is amazing.

Thanks for posting this, it brought back some good memories.

Man,Thats awesome.I don't think we do enough to protect our wildlife or their habitats.we just keep pretending progress is good even though to get ahead we destroy our path.
