| Heard from a buddy who was out at BHP Monday morning that the pier might open as early as this weekend. He talked with a guy at the pier who was doing the final clean-up. Don't know how true this is but hope it happens. |

Please keep us updated. I hope the rumor is true. I have had some good times on the pier. Is it still a $1 a person and $1 a rod after the rennovation? Horace Caldwell is open right? _________________ Most people get paid to do good. I am good

Hot off the press.....(from a contractor friend on the island)
Bob Hall pier will not reopen until all of the wood railing is replaced!!! As soon as all the wood gets changed out, then it will reopen, at which time Horace Caldwell will be closed off so it can get its wooden railing replaced. Apparently Bob Hall has the worse railing of the both of them and is considered a hazard by many. I must agree!!!
BTW I also have understood the hole diameter on the concrete block went from 2" to about 1" tight! Better get ready to make adaptors to make the rods fit. _________________ Fishing: The act of casting, spinning, trolling, jigging, while freezing, sweating, complaining, lieing, and/or cursing. |

I did see a few fishing poles on the Bob Hall cam a few times while it was closed for repairs...
I bet they only fished at lunch break! _________________ Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.

Stop the presses.
Channel 3 news did a report tonight on the piers. Bob Hall Pier should be open the Monday of Memorial Day Weekend.
Caldwell is open and should remain open.
No mention of replacing the old wood railings. _________________ Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
