I lost a friend who was hit by a drunk driver this weekend. He was ejected from his vehicle and crushed by the drunk guys vehicle when it rolled over on top of him.
He likely would have been okay had he been wearing his seatbelt.
Luckily, he had dropped off his daughter just two blocks away from the incident, but his daughter will grow up without having a father now, because he wouldn't take two seconds to snap that safety belt.
Though it was the drunk driver's fault, he could have prevented his daughter having to grow up without him.
Wear your seatbelt for your loved one's sake. Your car can only protect you from injury if you are inside of it. A seatbelt's job is to do just that.
Also, don't drive drunk. Know your limit and when to say when. It's illegal and immorral, and you could end up taking a life. _________________ Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.

Big John,
My prayers are with that man's daughter, family, and his friends like you. Sorry to hear about the terrible loss.
I agree with you on seat belt and not driving while having downed alcohol! It only takes a few behind the wheel to have something tragic happen. _________________ Live To Fish Tomorrow... Fish To Live Today
